It’s funny how life goes.

Someone shows up in your life one day, someone you don’t like all that much. Someone who challenges you, doesn’t take any crap from you, someone you can’t charm your way past.

Eventually, you find common ground, becoming colleagues first, eventually friends, good friends.

You even watch her fall in love with your boss without ever letting her know that you’re just a little bit in love with her yourself.

Then she leaves.

Suddenly, there’s a hole in your world where Sara used to be, and you miss her more than you ever thought possible.
