“We shouldn’t be doing this.”

Strong words, but there’s a marked lack of conviction in Sara’s tone, and hearing that, Warrick presses his advantage, using his hands on her hips to pull her closer. “Why not?” he says, lowering his lips to her neck, grinning when she arches against him.

“We could be making a mistake,” she tells him, her fingers running through his hair, but she groans when he straightens up, looks into her eyes.

“We’re not,” he says, confident. “But if we are… there’s no-one I’d rather make this mistake with.”

Pulling him close, she proves her agreement.
