She Loved the Rain

Sara always loved the rain; a carry-over from hippie parents she would joke. She never minded getting wet, never carried an umbrella; only once letting him shelter her, as they stood at a rain-soaked intersection, that alone telling him how rattled she was over Hank.
He used to tease her about it, especially the time he caught her catching raindrops on her tongue, like some schoolkid, but in reality, he thought it was cute.
He never told her that though.
Sara loved the rain, but now she is gone, and every time it rains, Warrick misses her all over again.
