In her new apartment in San Francisco, Sara should be smiling. After all, she is in a city that she loves, re-connecting with old friends, enjoying the fruits of her promotion.

But she still feels something is missing.

She knows she was right to leave Vegas, knows that the situation with Grissom wasn’t healthy for her. Even if she hadn’t known it herself, Warrick had told her so when she talked it over with him, reminded her of it at her leaving party, again when he hugged her goodbye at the airport.

He’s the only thing she regrets leaving behind.
