She stands in the hospital room and talks to someone who she considered a friend, and she feels sick.

She sits in the locker room and talks to her mentor, hoping for helpful words, receiving instead cryptic haikus, and she feels no better.

She lies on her bed and talks not to her boyfriend, but to her best friend.

She tells him about Melissa, and he listens, advises.

Then he tells her the latest Sipowicz stories, mimicking voice patterns for effect, and makes her laugh.

Sara and Tony talk for hours, and when she hangs up the phone, she's smiling.
