Every autumn for as long as he can remember, Robin's done the same thing; prepared for a new school year.
First as a student, juggling stationery and timetables, then as a teacher, juggling timetables and lesson plans and learning students' names.
Last year, it was as a principal, juggling timetables, staff appointments and problem kids, not to mention the Hellmouth in the basement and impending Apocalypse.
This year, things are different. There is no school, no job, nowhere in particular he has to be, no-one who is depending on him.
There's just him and Faith, and that suits him fine.
