Faith goes
out walking every night, but always with a purpose; to stake as many vampires
as she can. That’s her job, her way of atoning for the things she’s done.
But not
tonight.
Tonight,
her birthday, she has the night off to celebrate. She could do anything, but
chooses to walk under the stars, enjoying the night.
Holding her hand is the man who’s been by her side
ever since the fall of Sunnydale. He hasn’t left her, shows no signs of doing
so, and she’s liking the feeling.
And when he kisses her, she likes that even more.
