Gibbs isn’t demonstrative about his feelings. Kate knew that when she took a job with him, and if she didn’t know it then, she damn sure did by the time she fell in love with him.
He’s doesn’t send flowers, or love notes, use ridiculous pet names. Most people who see them together would never guess that they’re dating, that they’re in love.
But Kate knows. It’s in the way he looks at her, how he calls her “Katie” when no-one else can hear, how she’s the only one he’s voluntarily shown his boat to.
She knows, and that’s enough.
