When My Life Began
I told Merrin that most of the best things in my life happened after I was fifteen.
I should have said all.
At fifteen, I was mourning Mom, Dad was burying himself in work and Mark wasn't talking to him. I was a science geek and an emotional wreck.
It was after that that I went to college, met people who loved learning as much as I did. Joined the Air Force and travelled the world. Joined the Stargate program and explored new worlds.
And met him.
"Captain Doctor, you're going to love this."
That's when my life really began.
