When you were with Josh, you and he disagreed constantly, about everything.

It’s not like that with Donna. It surprises you, but you’re very compatible, different enough to make it interesting, but not enough to cause friction.

Which isn’t to say that you don’t disagree.

You disagree all the time.

The difference with you and Donna is that it’s the same disagreement, time after time.

You want to tell Josh about the two of you.

She doesn’t.

Not that she tells you that. The opposite in fact; she claims that there’s nothing she wants more than the two of you to be open about your relationship, to let people know what you are to one another.

“When?” you demand, the same demand every time.

“When it’s the right time,” is always her reply.

You know a line when you hear one. You know that, for Donna, the right time will never come.

But when her hands roam your body, when her head is between your legs, making you cry her name, you’re not so sure you care.
