Every time this happens, they agree it's the last time. Not that there's anything wrong with what they're doing; there's nothing that says a White House Assistant can't date a White House Reporter.

It's not like she's the Press Secretary.

It's not like he's the Communications Director.

There's nothing wrong with the two of them being together, except that each of them is in love with someone else, and to make it just a bit more twisted, the objects of their respective affections are involved with one another.
