There are a lot of reasons why they shouldn't be doing this. For one, she's his boss's daughter. For another, her ex-boyfriend is his friend, probably, in fact, his closest friend in the West Wing, and Will knows that Charlie is still in love with her.

There's no way that this is ever going to end well.

But he loves her red hair and the way she laughs, and she thinks his glasses are cute, and when she talks about it, his first meeting with her father doesn't seem so bad.

So he holds her closer and tries to forget.
