Will is
terrified his first morning working for Russell. “What if I’ve made a huge
mistake?” he worries. “What if I haven’t thought it through enough?”
“Will,
please.” Donna rolls her eyes, her steadier hands working for once on tying,
rather than untying, his tie. “What was the last thing you did without thinking
through?”
“I kissed
you,” he replies promptly, and her hands still, shadows falling across her
face.
“Are you
calling us a mistake?”
“No.” He
pulls her closer. “But if it is? It’s the best one I ever made.”
Her smile
brilliant, he makes the mistake again.
