The first night Donna visited him, Josh asked her about the West Wing, ordering her to tell him every single detail he was missing out on.

She responded with a raise of the eyebrow, a tilt of the head. “What?” she asked with a smirk. “You actually want me to talk?” When he didn’t say anything, she shook her head, busied herself adjusting his pillow. “Don’t start me talking,” she said. “I could talk all night.”

“I know,” he said, and what she saw in his face made her smile falter.

When she recovered, she talked until he fell asleep.
