Donna thought she knew what fear was, because she's spent a lot of her twenties scared.

She was scared when she told her parents that she was dropping out of college, then again when she left her free-loading boyfriend, when she drove all night from Madison to Manchester, when she talked her way into a job, so sure that Josh could hear her knees knocking together.

But he gave her his badge, banished her fear, and she's never looked back.

Then today, she heard Toby say three little words; "Josh was hit."

She thought she knew fear.

She was wrong.
