Ever since
they broke up, Charlie has wanted another chance with Zoey.
Tonight, he
had one.
She came,
of her own accord, to the Arboretum. They talked, she drank champagne, she told him he was a good guy.
Then she
kissed him.
She kissed
him, wanted to stay, enjoy the night, but he’s such a good guy that he pushed
her away, sent her to the club, to Jean-Paul.
He sent her
to the club, and now she’s missing and Molly is dead.
He’s spent
months praying for another chance; that she’d come back to him.
Now he’s
praying again.
