Will paces back and forth outside the movie theatre, checking his watch every thirty seconds. When she’s thirteen minutes late, he resigns himself to the fact that he’s been stood up.

Turning to walk to his car, he jumps when Donna’s standing in front of him. She is biting her lower lip, looking nervous. “I’m sorry,” she says. “I tried to get out on time, but Josh had a thing, and then there was traffic, and I couldn’t get a parking space…”

“Donna.” He feels a smile spreading across his face. “It’s ok.”

“It is?”

“Yeah. You’re worth the wait.”
