Sometimes, Kate thinks that they forget that she’s never done this before. Yes, she was around during the first campaign, but she was only “the girlfriend” then, and barely that. She wasn’t expected to do public appearances, meet and greets, wasn’t even spoken of to the public.

But now she’s “The Fiancée,” so she has to do all those things.

Just being Will’s fiancée is new, but the Congressman’s fiancée is another level entirely.

But when she’s feeling out of her depth, Will is there, promising her that they’ll get through this together.

There are times she almost believes him.
